I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art from The College of New Jersey in 2007. From there I discovered the profession of Art Therapy. This led to my completion of a Master’s degree in Counseling in 2013. My counseling degree included a concentration in Art Therapy which is accredited by the American Art Therapy Association and I am currently collecting hours towards my Art Therapy credential (ATR). Early in my education I volunteered for two different crisis hotlines. Both routed calls from the national suicide prevention line and included comprehensive training. Crisis management remains an interest of mine. I have experience counseling children, adults, and families within a community agency. My experience also includes work with individuals with eating disorders, forensic psychiatric patients and in mental health court, schools and higher education. In my approach I utilize art therapy and counseling techniques. I draw from psychodynamic, Cognitive behavioral therapy and Dialectical behavior therapy. I am currently registered as an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor. License #4806 NPI 1447759956
