COVID-19 Pandemic Safety Response

Welcome to our office. We are very glad that you are getting the help you need to keep you or your child healthy with mental health services.

Abalance Client-Centered Counseling is considered an essential business and we have been given authorization to open our offices. We are taking additional precautions to be safe at this office due to the COVID19 pandemic. No Therapist will be at the office if they or a family member is sick.

Here Are Some Things That Your Therapist Will Do To Keep A Clean And Safe Environment:

1. Spray Lysol Disinfectant on cloth surfaces (couches, chairs)
2. Wipe down hard surfaces with Clorox wipes (tables, chairs, door handles, etc.)
3. Use hand sanitizer before each session.
4. Wear a mask (cloth or disposable)
5. Maintain reasonable distance from each client. (6 feet for adults, closer to children at the worktables)
6. Wear gloves when working with children.

Here Are Some Things That We Need You To Do:

1. DO NOT come to the office if you or your child has any signs of being sick, coughing, sneezing, aching, trouble breathing, or fever. Or if a family member is currently sick or positive for COVID19.
2. Take your own/your child temperature at home before your session, and text your therapist the result. (above 99 degrees is a fever)
3. Wear a mask, you can bring your own or use a disposable mask provided by the office.
4. Use hand sanitizer before each session, as provided at the office.
5. Maintain reasonable distance from each client. (6 feet for adults, closer to children at the worktables)
6. Use your home bathroom before coming to the office, as the public restrooms are currently unavailable.

Professional Therapy with a Client Focus

There are times in life when we can feel off balance and can’t seem to snap out of it. When our own natural support system just isn’t enough, it may be time to reach out to a professional counselor to start the process of therapy. We have created a safe, comfortable and professional environment to discuss the issues in your life. We recognize the importance of a good therapeutic relationship and strive to build a positive rapport. We treat each client with respect and dignity.
