Welcome to our office. We are very glad that you are getting the help you need to keep you or your child healthy with mental health services.
Abalance Client-Centered Counseling is considered an essential business and we have been given authorization to open our offices. We are taking additional precautions to be safe at this office due to the COVID19 pandemic. No Therapist will be at the office if they or a family member is sick.
Here Are Some Things That Your Therapist Will Do To Keep A Clean And Safe Environment:
1. Spray Lysol Disinfectant on cloth surfaces (couches, chairs)
2. Wipe down hard surfaces with Clorox wipes (tables, chairs, door handles, etc.)
3. Use hand sanitizer before each session.
4. Wear a mask (cloth or disposable)
5. Maintain reasonable distance from each client. (6 feet for adults, closer to children at the worktables)
6. Wear gloves when working with children.
Here Are Some Things That We Need You To Do:
1. DO NOT come to the office if you or your child has any signs of being sick, coughing, sneezing, aching, trouble breathing, or fever. Or if a family member is currently sick or positive for COVID19.
2. Take your own/your child temperature at home before your session, and text your therapist the result. (above 99 degrees is a fever)
3. Wear a mask, you can bring your own or use a disposable mask provided by the office.
4. Use hand sanitizer before each session, as provided at the office.
5. Maintain reasonable distance from each client. (6 feet for adults, closer to children at the worktables)
6. Use your home bathroom before coming to the office, as the public restrooms are currently unavailable.

Yes. ABALANCE CLIENT-CENTERED COUNSELING is accepting new clients ages 5-9. We are only offering Teletherapy Sessions to people in the Central Valley.
No. You can contact us directly and we will get your insurance eligibility established and schedule your first appointment. Your Health Plan may require an additional call to get a registration number after you have already established as a client in our office. We have a team here to help guide you through these things if you need assistance.
Yes, we currently accept HPSJ and CCAH MediCal Insurances only. For other insurances, we provide an out-of-network option for you to bill your insurance and get reimbursed for up to 80% of your therapy costs in our offices.
No, we treat mild/moderate symptoms for a variety of issues, but not alcohol and drug issues. If you have an addiction or are seeking sobriety, we refer out to a professional that treats substance abuse.
Weekly sessions are the best care option for mental health outcomes, but we also provide an every other week option, or Teletherapy if you have a hectic schedule.
