Welcome to Client-Centered Counseling
Abalance Client-Centered Counseling is a Group Private Practice with a team of mental health professionals trained in evidenced-based treatment. We use a unique and innovative client-centered approach to encourage each client to guide the discussion of each session in order to get the best results. We begin the appointment with a session preparation segment to allow a client to relax, intraspectively become aware of primary and secondary emotions, and to list the most important topics for them to share. From this brief process the therapist is able to validate the issues and stress of the client, before going into the research-based interventions to promote change. This collaboration is an important dynamic to a client-centered experience.
We provide exceptional mental health care for mild and moderate treatment to adults, children, and adolescents in Modesto, Merced, and Turlock. We accept HPSJ and CCAH Insurances.

Professional Therapy with a Client Focus
There are times in life when we can feel off balance and can’t seem to snap out of it. When our own natural support system just isn’t enough, it may be time to reach out to a professional counselor to start the process of therapy. We have created a safe, comfortable and professional environment to discuss the issues in your life. We recognize the importance of a good therapeutic relationship and strive to build a positive rapport. We treat each client with respect and dignity.

I am now employed full time, going to school full time and juggling four children. She is amazing at what she does , and helps you find your right path to becoming the best you possible. Thank you for all you have helped me accomplish this year.

Radical Acceptance is the acceptance of life, on life’s terms. While pain is part of life, radical acceptance allows us to keep that pain from becoming suffering. It is about accepting the facts of reality, no matter how painful, without avoidance, overthinking, or dangerous behaviors. When a person does not accept the realities of life
