Valerie Lamke

MS, LMFT

I am a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley having earned a Bachelor of Arts in both Political Science and Psychology. I was an Organizational Consultant and worked for several Fortune 500 companies focusing on organizational assessment, statistical analysis, employee relations, program development and training. In the year 2000, I graduated from California State University, Stanislaus with a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology.

I did research on Clinical Assessment Instruments and researched Dual-Career Families. After completing my internships in Turlock and Sacramento, I became licensed as a Marriage Family Therapist in 2004. I have had training with the Gottman Institute and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) through UC Davis.

In addition to private practice I have been on staff at CSU Stanislaus Psychological Services, lectured on mental health issues, and in 2008 received 5 Teaching Credentials. In addition to seeing clients, I also supervise and develop interns towards licensure.
