THERAPIST I/Supervisor
I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Chapman University, followed by my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from The University of San Francisco. I have been working with young children, families, teens and adults with severe mental illness since 1993. In 2010, I became a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist. I have supervised and trained MFT interns for several years, as they make their way towards licensure.
My specialized areas of treatment are trauma, anxiety, depression, self-injurious behavior, LGBTQ and family conflict resolution. My goal is to provide a safe, open and mindful environment for you to grow and heal by utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution Focused Therapy.
I am looking forward to supporting you on your journey of healing.
